#Tile #Installation #Industry #Associations- Summary and Links

Tile industry associations generally govern porcelain tile, ceramic tile, and resilient tile installation.  In some cases they also oversee marble and natural stone tile installation as well.  These associations drive standards and change in industry and members tend to network and attend events to keep current with surface trends. Consumers should also check to ensure installers are:

  • certified and trained
  • experienced in your type of project (residential vs commercial, interior vs exterior)
  • state licensed, insured and bonded (where applicable)
  • review How to Choose a Top Installer for other considerations
