TopInstallers.com expands flooring coverage into British Columbia and Colorado

TopInstallers.com is continuing it’s expansion in western North America with over 1000 Wood and Tile Flooring businesses in British Columbia (150) and Colorado (850) – and we invite new installers to join today.

If you are completing a renovation and are looking for a flooring contractor, please go to http://find.TopInstallers.com to start your search.  Our blog also has lots of tips to help you work with installers .

Searching for installers in Colorado or BC is as easy as choosing a category and entering the Zip Code (or postal code) at TopInstallers.com.  You can also do a search of larger cities with these links (the results will default to Wood and Tile Flooring):

TopInstallers.com now has over 14,000 businesses listed to help you complete your flooring project throughout the west coast of North America!

*** The State of Colorado mandates Contractor licenses for Electricians, Plumbers, Landscape Architects and Architects/Engineers and you can confirm active status here on the Colorado DORA website.  Individual cities have other unique licensing requirements for General Contractors (and subtrades) so check with your city hall when planning your project (eg Boulder Contractor Licensing, Denver Planning and Development).

*** British Columbia (BC, Canada) the Homeowners Protection Office HPO was implemented (after a wave of leaky condo’s cost homeowners millions in restoration assessments) to ensure that all General Contractors and Builders are licensed to build homes in BC.  There may be local requirements for sub-trades like floorig and tiles, and check to ensure they have proper business license and insurance to work in your city.  Vancouver also has a new Metro West Inter-Municipal License pilot program (running through 2015) that allows contractors to register and work across most of the lower mainland

While TopInstallers is an educational resource for your project, we are not directly affiliated with any of the installers on TopInstallers.com.   We always recommend you do your due diligence and get at least three quotes /confirm qualifications /check references before selecting your installer.  Check out our article:  How to Choose a TopInstaller for more information.
